This is a rare Chinese-made World War II United States Army Air Forces flight surgeon wing. This wing was hand-constructed in silver-plated plated brass. It has a caduceus at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 2-3/4" in width by 3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Handmade in plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAEJX05 LHJJX SLHEJX2/14 SFJJX3/14
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The wing shows only light storage wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
