This is a World War II Chinese 5th Army patch. The patch is shield-shaped and bears a red Roman numeral V decorated by a white flower. The reverse of the patch has Chinese characters, a chop and a handwritten date of 1945.11.1 (January 11, 1945).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed cotton patch with muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:Chop and Chinese characters; January 11, 1945 (date written right to left).

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some minor staining.
