This is a World War II patch for the Chinese 5th Army. The patch is shield-shaped and bears a red V decorated by a white flower. The reverse of the patch has Chinese characters,a chop and a handwritten date of 1945.11.1 (January 11, 1945).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-5/16" in width and 2-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed cotton patch with muslin backing.
MARKINGS:Chop and Chinese characters; January 11, 1945 date written right to left.
