ARTIFACT: WWII American Red Cross women's tunic is a single breasted, double pocket style with plastic buttons in brownish black color embossed with the Red Cross in the center and the letters "American Red Cross" around it, the American Red Cross Service sleeve patch is displayed on the upper left sleeve, and the volunteer bar sewn on above cuff.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 18" from armpit to armpit; 25" length from collar to hem (on reverse); 23" from shoulder seam to cuff; 15" between shoulders.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gabardine wool, embroidered patch cotton/silk thread, satin shoulder padding, plastic buttons.

ATTACHMENT: Button up front.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Tunic shows a couple moth nips and spots of light soiling, all the buttons are intact.
