ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Naval Aviation Association NAA Member lapel pin. The pin is a small winged shield with two crossed anchors and a propeller, and a red, white and blue enameled cockade aircraft marking at center. The original owner's initials, I. W. F., are engraved on back. 

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 3/8" in height and 3/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a Tiffany style catch.

MARKINGS: I.W.F. 

CALDWELL.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin has small spots of light wear and tarnish only and enamel is intact.
