Description
This is a World War I unit history of the United States Army 304th Engineer Regiment, 79th Division. The 304th was stationed in France after training at Camp Meade, and participated in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. The book has several fold-out maps and photographs, and a great embossed cover showing the coast of France and the regiment's Cross of Lorraine insignia.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920.
SIZE:415 pages with black-and-white photographs and illustrations; approximately 11" in height and 8" in width and 1-3/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Glued binding.
MARKINGS:Published by the Regiment Under Supervision of its Commanding Officer 1920.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The book has some light aging and some spots of wear along the edges of the cover and one of the fold-out pages; light staining to back cover. No rips, stains or writing inside.
