This is a French-made shoulder patch for the United States 79th Infantry Division. The patch is crest-shaped with a white border and the Cross of Lorraine at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:2-1/16" height and 1-13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt patch embroidered in cotton/silk threads with silk backing.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Patch shows little wear.
