Description
This is a uniquely sentimental piece of history. Pinned to a yellowing piece of paper is a single WWI style US Army Captains rank insignia. Below this is a note in old pen & ink written in WWII: Roger, Sol Silver cap ornament, matching the shoulder insignia you now have. Bought in Tiffany's in Paris in 191Dad." I don't know how Roger faired in WWII. If only this little souvenir could talk.
