This is a World War I Imperial German Silesian Eagle, 2nd class medal without a ribbon. The Silesian Eagle was instituted in 1919 as a reward for participation in the quelling of the Silesian uprisings, and the 2nd class medal was awarded for three months of service.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with black enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Suspension loop.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal shows some light to medium wear and tarnish.
