ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I pin for the German Red Cross Patriotic Women's Association (VFV: Vaterlandischer Frauen-Verein). The badge shows a red cross at center and reads VFV.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

ITEM NOTES:
