This is a World War I cap badge for the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles Regiment overseas, a regiment which became a part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 191The badge reads C.M.R.R OVERSEAS and shows a moose head.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:1-7/8" in height and 1-1/2" wide.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Lacquered brass.
ATTACHMENT:One loop (one loop is missing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBBL95 LAAEX 4/10 SHJX03/18/23
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows light wear and is handsomely tarnished but there is one loop attachment missing.
