ARTIFACT: This is a pair of British World War I MK1 flying goggles.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: The goggles are approximately 3" tall and 8" wide.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass, steel, leather, elastic, sealskin, thread.

ATTACHMENT: Elastic strap.

MARKINGS: Markings on the leather have been partially lost, but what remains looks like: ???GLE MASK FLY???, ???MARK I, TH_ _ TRIPL ???.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of WW I items which we will be listing more of over the next months. VEJX05 .

CONDITION: 1- (Relic) These goggles have certainly seen better days, please refer to images. The leather is quite unstable; however, the glass in entirely intact as is the elastic band.
