WWI British Army Royal Sussex Regiment Cap Badge

This is a World War I cap badge for the Royal Sussex Regiment, part of the British Army. The badge reads HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE (shame upon him who thinks evil upon it) and shows an eight-pointed star with a plume behind it.

Circa World War I.

1-5/8" height and 1-3/8" width.

Plated brass.
