ARTIFACT: WWI 20th Battalion, The London Regiment, enlisted man cap badge. During WWI, The London Regiment was stationed in the Western Front. The 20th participated in the Battle of Loos, Battle of the Somme, the Battle of Albert and many other, this unit saw heavy combat between 1916 and 1918. The badge is a rearing horse with scrolls or banners beneath that read: "20TH THE LONDON REGT. BATT."

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" x 1-9/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped gilt bronze
