ARTIFACT: WWI Aviation Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) doctored to show two German aircraft descending down on a United States aircraft. The reverse has a handwritten inscription that reads: "An American in a tight place over the German lines" and has been not been posted.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cardstock, ink

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): RPPC shows only minor age wear and small spot of soiling on reverse, no rips or creases.
