Great image of squadron insignia on the aircraft nose and the pilot wing is visible on aviator. Possibly erroneously ID'd as Lieutenant Sanders on reverse as Sanders does not show up on roster. The reverse is unposted and shows a penciled number '43' and handwritten text reads: "LT. SANDERS & HIS MACH".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 5 ½" x 3 ½"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Photo and cardstock, ink

ATTACHMENT: N/A

MARKINGS: "790"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI Aviation Photo collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX14 LAFEX6/15 SAJJX6/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The surface of the photo shows minor surface scratches, overall the card and photo are in great shape with minor to moderate age wear/soiling.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
