This is a World War I Austrian Unit Cap Badge for the Karpathen Korps Hofmann. The group did battle in the Carpathian Mountains in 1914 and 1915.

Circa World War I, 1915 - 1916.

Approximately 1-9/16" in height x 1-3/16" in width.

White metal.

Vertical pin (C type catch is missing).
