ARTIFACT: This is a World War I American Red Cross donation pin. The pin reads I GAVE A DAY'S PAY DID YOU? and shows a red cross at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES & SIGNS NEWARK, N.J. and union mark.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has areas of light wear and some rust, mainly along edge.
