Description
This is a World War I 1st Army United States Air Service sergeant's jacket. The jacket has two collar insignia and three patches, one being a double chevron near the left cuff.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool with silk lining, three wool patches, two embroidered in cotton/silk threads and one in embroidery tape, plated brass collar insignia and buttons.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons, two hook and eye closures at collar. single screw posts with disc backings on insignia.
