World War I German Army Black Wound Badge

This is a World War I German Army black Wound Badge, which shows a helmet with two crossed swords. The black wound badge was given out to those injured up to twice or who suffered frostbite while serving.

Circa World War I.

1-3/4" height and 1-9/16" width.

Stamped brass with black paint.

Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.
