This is a nice World War II German Army black Wound Badge, which shows a helmet with two crossed swords. The black wound badge was given out to those injured either once or twice or who suffered frostbite while serving.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped brass with black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX11 LHEX8/11 SHEX11/20
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The badge shows only very light wear, mostly on the pin.
