Wonderful, WWII "Heart Shield Bible". The shield and prayer book for Catholics present by wife 3/20/44 with heart felt inscription reading: "To My Husband, the Sweetest Man on Earth Ð From, His Wife, Anne M. (?) Who Loves Him With All Her Heart Ð Monday Nite March 20th, 1944" The names on the presentation card are blacked out, per Army regulations and is numbered "31079168 U.S. Army
