This is a Wonderful Spanish-American War Period United State Marine Corps Parade Dress Flag Bearer's Carrying Base.

Spanish - American War Period circa 1898.

Approximately: Flag Bearer's Carrying Base 4" in height x 1-3/8" (Top outer part ) 1-1/16" (Top inner part) in diameter. / Heart shape base 5-3/8" in width x 3-3/8" in height.

Brass.

Would have originally been riveted to a heavy leather belt/brace.

7+ (Very Fine+ ): The Flag Bearer's Carrying Base shows moderate wear, with no damage, only spot of oxidation, top part moves 360 degrees. Overall it is very fine condition.
