ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful late 1930s United States Marine Corps enlisted man dress EGA set by Meyer on its original velvet card. The set includes an overseas cap badge (topmost on card), a cap badge, and two collar insignia. All eagle, globe and anchors are hallmarked on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.

SIZE: Cap badge Approximately: 1-5/8" in height and 1-3/4" in width; overseas cap badge: 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width; collar insignia: 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width (each). Board is about 6-7/8" by 4-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass; velvet-wrapped board.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing (on each badge); silk hanging loop on board.

MARKINGS: MEYER shield (on each).

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The EGAs show only very light wear; one small spot of light wear to velvet.
