Description
This is a wonderful circa 1930s Japanese Army NCO (non-commissioned officer) pilot badge with a "salty", "been there" look. The badge is sizable, and shows a coppery winged propeller beneath a star with golden rays of light behind it. The badge had a period repair done in order to stabilize the star.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Copper-plated and gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with C catch.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The badge has small areas of moderate wear and tarnish; a few small spots of oxidation; period repair to badge.
