ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful 1920's Santa Cruz CA Police Traffic Officer Breast & Hat Badge. Pre-California Highway Patrol. Probably the ONLY Traffic/ M Officer in the city at the time. 

VINTAGE: 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately Badge: 3" in height x 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass with hard - fired dark blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Breast Badge: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch. Hat Badge: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: "ED. JONES AND CAL."

ITEM NOTES:  This is from a California police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MFJAV20 LBAGEX01/11/21 SAGJJX06/14/21

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The breast badge and hat badge shows minor to moderate wear, and wonderful condition on both front, and has spot of tarnish on both back.
