ARTIFACT:
This is a wonderful 1880's Volunteer Life Savings Corps of New York Captain's suspension badge. The bottom pendant is in hollow construction. It is likely made of silver. This badge has exquisite construction and a hand engraved rank.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1880's.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/2" x 1-1/4".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Appears to be Coin Silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with C type catch.
