This is an old US Volunteer Life Saving Corps (USVLSC) badge numbered V7The USVLSC existed in fifteen states where there were no federally-run life-saving stations and acted to supplement the U. S. Life Saving Service.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900s-1910s.
SIZE:About 1-1/4" in width by 1-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a tongue type "C" catch.
