This is a Will & Finck of San Francisco skewer puller that was patented on October 30, 187The handle is Stag Horn (the trade name of deer antler) and the puller end is a silvered bronze stag head whose teeth will grasp at a skewer when introduced.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s-1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-5/8" in length and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silvered bronze and Stag Horn.
ATTACHMENT:Spring-loaded.
