WWI Service Medal from San Francisco, California made by Granat Bros in .980 silver. The center shows the facial profile of two soldiers, one wearing a combat helmet and the other an overseas cap, embossed lettering surrounding the center reads: "SAN FRANCISCO TO HER WARRIOR SONS 1919". The medallion is suspended from a pin back bar with nice detail.
VINTAGE:Circa WWI
SIZE:Approximately 1 7/8" x 1 ¼" .
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:.980 silver
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come under 'C' catch.
MARKINGS:"GRANAT BROS 980/1000 SILVER".
