Vietnamese Made Sandcast United States Army Combat Infantry Badge (CIB)

This is a Vietnamese-made badge for a United States Army combat infantryman. The badge shows a rifle on a blue painted background wreathed by oak leaves, and was made using a process which makes the front appear buffed and the reverse appear pebbly in texture.

Circa 1960s.

1-1/16" height and 3" width.

Nickel-plated brass with blue painted area.

Two pins with clutch-back fasteners.
