ARTIFACT: This is a Philippine-made USS Standley, CG-32 (cruiser) M.A.A. (master at arms) badge from the Vietnam War era. The Standley was launched from Bath, Maine in December 1964 and earned four battle stars for her service. The badge is curved, has a great simply engraved eagle and is numbered 5.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFJX11 LAGEX12/11 SADEX2/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some light wear with some very minor oxidation and has a few deep abrasions on reverse.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
