This is a 1970s USS Bristol County, LST-1198 (landing ship tank) M.A.A. (master at arms) badge. The Bristol County was launched at San Diego in December 197Assigned to Amphibious Force, Pacific Fleet, the ship served for 23 years.. The badge is numbered 9.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
