Description
This is a Vietnam War era Japanese-made jacket patch for the United States Air Force 615th Tactical Fighter Squadron. Assigned to the 35th Tactical Fighter Wing, the 615th was stationed at Phan Rang Air Base in the Republic of Vietnam, out of which the group manned F-100 Super Sabres. The 615th was inactivated on July 15, 197The patch shows a fierce panther slinking through a red and green sided quadrilateral.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:Approximately 4-5/8" in height and 4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.
