Victorian Scottish Cloak Brooch in Cast Metal by Kirkwood of Edinburgh

This is a huge and massive Scottish cloak brooch from the Victorian era. It is made in heavy cast metal by R. & H.B. Kirkwood of Edinburgh. The brooch is a large open wreath with a very three dimensional stag's head at center.

Circa Victorian Era (last half of nineteenth century).

Approximately 3-1/8" in diameter and ??" in thickness.

Heavy cast metal.

Huge horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
