Circa 1890s Scottish Basket Hilt Sword Brooch in Silver and Agate

This is a beautiful Scottish brooch in silver with blue and red agate that is shaped like a basket hilt sword.

Circa 1890s.

Approximately 2-5/8: in length and 11/16" in width.

Silver and agate.

Vertical T-style pin with come-under locking swivel catch (catch is a replacement).

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows light wear and has a handsome tarnish. The catch was replaced and there is a piece on the back of the pin that may have been placed there for reinforcement.
