ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare Korean War Japanese-made jacket patch from the United States Navy VC-11 squadron of the attack aircraft carrier 31 U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard. The patch is shaped like Korea and shows the ship and an aircraft above. The patch reads KOREA TEAM-11 USS BON HOMME RICHARD 1951.

VINTAGE:

Circa Korean War.

SIZE:

8" height and 4-1/2"width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton thread.
