ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese-made Korean War patch for the United States Navy VC-3 Carrier Air Group 9 night fighters aboard the USS Philippines Sea. The patch shows an attacking wolf leaping off a carrier deck with blood dripping from his eyes. The patch reads KOREA 52-53 TEAM MIKE.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: 5-1/2" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch with multi-colored cotton threads.
