This is a Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Plunger SSN-59The patch shows a submarine plunging past a horseshoe and reads USS PLUNGER SSN 595 "WHAT IS PAST IS PROLOGUE" SS-2 SS-179.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:4-1/8" height and 3-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully- embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton/polyester threads.
