ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare World War II United States Army driver proficiency badge made in the Chins-Burma-India theatre. The badge is in silver, and has two chain links at bottom from which to hang bars naming what the driver was tested in (i.e. wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, etc).

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" square.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with very large and open come-under swivel locking catch; two chain links.

MARKINGS:

None.
