Description
Very nice, early 1930's United States Air Corps 6th Bomb Group Distinctive Insignia. This example is made by Bastian Brothers and features an enameled, right-facing head of a swashbuckler with a skull and crossbones tattooed on his chest and a banner beneath him that reads: "PARATI DEFEFENDERE" or "Ready to Defend." and shows the US Air Corps symbol, a white star with a red center, against a blue background.
