This is a very early nineteenth century brass lock engraved with the letters "US" along with its companion key.
VINTAGE:Circa early nineteenth century.
SIZE:3-1/4" height and 2-3/8" width and 2" depth (with key inserted as shown).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
ATTACHMENT:Loop.
MARKINGS:U.S.
