Very cool WWII United States Submarine plaque from Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Homefront piece made by a War Worker building subs, made using material that would be used on subs, Bakelite-type brown/black plastic, sheet copper, and brass rivets. RARE!
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 8-3/4" in length x 3" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Two-piece, riveted construction, Bakelite-type brown/black plastic, sheet copper, and brass rivets.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The submarine plaque shows moderate to heavy wear, the Bakelite-type plastic shows a light film overall, the copper has a handsome patina.
