ARTIFACT: Very cool smallish WWII Japanese personal flag captured on Okinawa. The flag came along with two small photos of the 'war trophy' being displayed.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 31-2/8" x 26-7/8"; Center circle: approx. 12-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Multi-piece cotton

ATTACHMENT: Rope ties

MARKINGS: None on flag. "PHOTOS OF JAPANESE FLAG CAPTURED ON OKINAWA" on envelope

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Japanese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX15 LAFEX1/16 SAFEX3/16

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The flag shows moderate to heavy wear and soiling, small holes and also some separation near the ties (see photo), pictures are in remarkable condition.
