Wonderful, salty, WWII Japanese soldier personal "rifle" flag with a great 'been there' look. The silk flag is named to the original owner: Kota Kanemura. The top two kanji translate to "KANE MURA" and the bottom two, "KO TA".
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 13-1/8" in length x 10-1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk, cotton string.
ATTACHMENT:Originally to be tied to the end of a rifle.
