Description
Very cool case for a French made MAB (Manufacture d'Armes de Bayonne) "Modele C". The MAB was produced after WWII during the 1950's - 1960's by Western Arms Corporation of Los Angeles. With assistance from the newly formed CIA, Western Arms Corporation was used as a front to import military surplus arms into the United States. The box is lined with satin and velvet and features a brass closure. The inside reads: "WAC AUTOMATIC PISTOL". Pistol was similar to a Browning 1910. Very cool with indirect ties to the Central Intelligence Agency. Something James Bond might have carried???
