Variation WWII US Army CBI Theater Patch Silk Screen Painted on Leather

This is a rare variation of a World War II US Army / USAAF CBI (or China Burma India) Theater shoulder patch. This patch was made in silk screen painted leather. The patch is a badge shape and depicts a sun and a star on a field of blue above five vertical stripes. This patch was most likely for use on an A-2 flight jacket by USAAF personnell.

Approximately: 3-1/4" in height x 2-1/2" in width.
