This is an old US Volunteer Life Saving Corps rank badge with nice detail work. At the top of the badge is the name "Coxswain."
VINTAGE:Circa 1900-1910.
SIZE:About 1-1/4" in width by 2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.
