ARTIFACT: This is a shoulder patch for the United States Marine Corps Amphibious Coastal Defense Battalions. The patch shows an anti-aircraft gun within a red diamond at center outlined in white and set against five stars. This patch is a variation as it shows a leaner gun and a thinner white border around the diamond.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 3-1/2" height and 2-15/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
