This is a World War II United States Marine Corps shoulder patch for the 5th Marine Amphibious Corps. The patch shows three stars above the head of a hungry crocodile.
VINTAGE:World War II.
SIZE:3-3/4" height and 3" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Red felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): This patch shows some light wear and a staple mark.
